ORDERING AND DELIVERY
When will my order arrive?

We get your order ready in 1 to 2 business days. Delivery takes 4 to 7 business days after that, so most orders arrive within 5 to 9 business days. Orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day start processing the same day.
Where does my order ship from?

Mara Linden is run from the Netherlands. Our blankets and pillows are dispatched directly from our fulfillment partners in Asia to your address in the United States. Returns go to our return center in Doral, Florida.
What does shipping cost?

Nothing. Shipping is free on every order to the United States, with no minimum. Any sales tax for your state is shown at checkout before you pay.
Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. We ship to all 50 states and Washington, D.C. We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes, APO or FPO addresses or US territories at the moment.
How do I track my order?

You get a tracking link by email within 24 hours of dispatch. The first scan can take 2 to 4 business days to show up, because the package travels a stretch before the US carrier picks it up. No movement for 7 business days? Email us and we chase it.
Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, free of charge within 12 hours of ordering. Email support@maralinden.com with your order number. After that the order is usually already being packed, but you can return it once it arrives.
Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is handled by Shopify Payments over a secure connection; we never see or store your card number.

SIZES, CARE AND RETURNS
Which size should I order?

Think about who is going to be under it. Throw is one person curled up on the couch. Single is one person stretched out, toes covered, and it fits a twin bed. Double is two people side by side on the couch, or a full or queen bed. King is the whole family and covers a king bed with the edges hanging over. The exact measurements are on every product page and on our size guide. Not sure? Size up.
Is the size on the label exact?

Blankets are textiles, so the finished size can be about an inch bigger or smaller than listed. That is normal and it does not change which size is right for you.
What is the difference between a pillow cover and a pillow?

A pillow cover is the outer layer with a zipper, without the filling. A pillow is the cover with an insert inside. On our site every pillow listing says in the title and under What is included exactly what you get, so you are never surprised.
How do I wash my blanket?

Follow the care line on the product page, it comes straight from the maker. Most flannel blankets go in the machine on a cold, gentle cycle and dry flat or on low. Faux fur blankets prefer a hand wash and a shake afterwards to fluff up. Never bleach, never tumble dry hot.
I have a pet. Will the hair stick?

Pets are welcome on our blankets. Give the blanket or cover a good shake outside and most of the loose hair comes off. For the rest, follow the washing instructions. Pillow covers with a zipper come off and go in the machine.
Can I return it?

Yes. You have 30 days after delivery to send anything back, no reason needed, as long as it is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging. Email us first for a return reference. Details in our Refund & Return Policy.
Who pays for return shipping?

If you changed your mind, you do. A folded blanket from within the US typically costs $10 to $20 to ship to our return center in Doral, Florida. If the item arrived damaged, defective or wrong, we cover it, and in most cases you do not need to send it back at all.
How fast is the refund?

Within 5 business days of the return reaching our return center, back to your original payment method. Your bank can take another 3 to 5 business days to show it. No restocking fees, ever.
My item arrived damaged. What now?

Email a few photos to support@maralinden.com within 30 days of delivery. We send a free replacement or refund you in full, your choice, and we usually do not need the item back.
