Refund & Return Policy

Your return window
You have 30 days from the day your order is delivered to start a return. We go by the delivery date on the tracking, not the order date.

Condition
Items must be unused, unwashed and in their original packaging, with any tags still attached. Blankets and cushion covers are textiles, so we understand you need to unfold one to see it. Unfolding and handling an item to judge it is fine. An item that has been slept under, washed, or that comes back with pet hair, smoke or perfume on it is not.

How to start a return
Email support@maralinden.com with your order number and which items you want to send back. You do not need to give a reason. We reply within 24 hours on business days with a return reference and the return address. Please wait for that reference before shipping anything, because a parcel that arrives without one can take much longer to match to your order.

This is a domestic US address. You are never asked to ship anything overseas.

Who pays for return shipping
If you changed your mind, you do. A folded blanket sent within the United States typically costs $10 to $20 depending on the size and the carrier you pick. A cushion cover is usually $8 to $12. You are free to use any carrier you like. We recommend one with tracking, because a return we never receive is one we cannot refund.

If the item arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we pay. We send you a prepaid label, and in most of those cases we do not need the item back at all.

Restocking fees
There are none. We do not charge a restocking fee on any return, for any reason.

Your refund
Once your return reaches our return center we inspect it and refund you within 5 business days. The money goes back to the original payment method you used. Your bank or card issuer can take another 3 to 5 business days to show it on your statement, which is outside our control.

We refund the full price you paid for the returned items. Since shipping was free, there is no shipping cost to refund.

We never refund in store credit
You get your money back to the payment method you used. We do not offer a discount code, a gift card or a partial refund in place of a refund, and we will not ask you to accept one.

Damaged, defective or wrong items
Email photos to support@maralinden.com within 30 days of delivery. We send a free replacement or a full refund, your choice, and we cover any shipping involved. This is separate from and in addition to your normal 30 day return right.

Partial returns
You can return part of an order and keep the rest. We refund the items you send back.

Cancelling before dispatch
Free of charge within 12 hours of ordering. Email us with your order number.

Items we cannot take back
Gift cards, and any item that comes back used, washed or damaged by the customer. That is the whole list. Everything else in our range can be returned.

If we get it wrong
If we have made a mistake, tell us and we fix it. Email support@maralinden.com and a real person will answer within 24 hours on business days.
